Does the pre-test survey affect scoring?

Unanswered Question

I read in one of the Cisco books that depending on how you answer the survey before the tests helps determine how the test is graded. Is there any truth to that?

I have this problem too.

The official word is "No" not at all.

To me, I get the impression that it does provide the seed number used for the pool question selection.

When I answered the example questions the same way on a test{fail}retest, I got generally the same questions.

When I answered the example questions differently, I got (mostly) different questions from the pool.

Could be a coincidence ... I don't know. After a few cycles of several different certs, I answer the examples and survey questions the same every test now.

(But it's likely not making a bit of difference .... superstitions ....)

Good Luck

would you suggest answering them all honestly or selecting the I prefer not to answer option?
