Hi,

I would like to know if the router can support 2MB. currently upgrading from 1MB to 2MB for cisco 1721 router. i am sure this can be done right?

Not need to upgrade to 1841 to cater to 2MB leased line right?

thanks!

Hi,

Yes, the 1721 can support a leased line of 2Mb on an E1 circuit, xDSL, Frame Relay or any WAN link that supports 2Mb.

Hope it helps!

Regards,

Juan

Hi,

the 1721 should do it, but be aware that if many features are enabled, it may kind of suffer in CPU. The 1841 is much faster.
