When u setup this Software how y could run it?i have used "-P 3600" To emulate a Cisco 3600,but doesn't work

Don't forget that this software emulates the 3600 or 7200 HW. You still need to have the Cisco IOS for one of these platforms in order to get going.

You can take any 7200 IOS image. Assuming you have a CCO account, you can download these images from CCO, if you don't already have one.

i brought this IOS c3660-is-mz.122-17a.bin;AND I Issued in the command line "-P 3600".but doesn't work!how can i run it?

Download and install dynagen.

Make sure the IOS file is in the correct directory (mostly it is Program Files\Dynamips\images)

then create a .net file and run

sample net file is below

autostart = False

model = 3660

[localhost]

ram = 160

[[ROUTER R1]]

image = \Program Files\Dynamips\images\c3660-is-mz.122-17a.bin

idlepc = 0x60d705c4

model = 3660

S2/0 = R2 s2/0

console = 2001

[[ROUTER R2]]

image = \Program Files\Dynamips\images\c3660-is-mz.122-17a.bin

idlepc = 0x60d705c4

model = 3660

console = 2002
