Call Recording w/ IPCCX Co-resident on CCM

Unanswered Question
Mar 20th, 2007

We have a customer with a new CM 4.2 implementation on a 7825. They have a few people who need the capability to record calls. We thought the perfect solution would be to use the 5 IPCCX licenses bundled with CM, and do a co-resident install. To our disappointment, a partner we work with on Call Center stuff, said that call recording cannot be done on a co-resident install. Can anyone share any experience with this setup? My search for documentation turned up nothing, so I would like to at least get a second opinion. Thank you.

I have this problem too.

The license that comes with the CCM (bundled) does not allow recording. Another issue you have to take into consideration is the performance of the server and HDD capacity.

Thanks for the repsonses on this. It looks like we will probably have to set them up with CallRex or something similar at our expense.
