CCNA & CCO Login?

Answered Question

Hi,

quick question? Does having a CCNA or any other cisco cert allow you to log in to Ciscos website and download IOS software and stuff? (similar to CCO)

I'm currently using a CCO login that was created due to a PIX firewall we purchased with a smartnet agreement, but I will be leaving the company soon and will be sitting my CCNA exam in the next week or so, and I would still like to be able to upgrade my home Lab (latest versions of IOS) if I need to direct from cisco.

many thanks

Dave

I have this problem too.

Certs such as CCNA and CC{N,V,I,D}P do not by themselves offer software download capability or permission.

You would still need to purchase a SmartNet software contract.

Anyone can get a CCO login, but that also doesn't bestow software download capability or permission.

Sorry for the bad news ...

Good Luck
