I am trying to figure out a way to automatically initiate a stream request behind/ or form our content engines so that I have a way to actively monitor the health of the entire CDN. My thought was that this would provide a mechanism to provide some sort of constant activity so I can spot check the content engines and the routers without having to rely on end user requests. Has anyone ever tried something like this?
