HI,

I have a problem that i hope some can help me with.

I have a CCME version 4.0, after the upgrade from 3.x to 4.0, i got this problem. I am using B-ACD 2.1.0.0.

Then the agents talk on a phone (7920) and some is in the queue, we get a bip evry apx. 5 sec. to inform that there is some in the queue. I will like to remove this bip, because it is anoying. It looks like it is the acd tcl script that make this bip. I can not find a parameter on this and how to disable the bip.

If i know that is is posible in newer tcl scipt it is no problem to upgrade it.

Is the some persons here that can confirm this if there is a parameter to disable this bip. ?

Hi Soren,

You are correct here, there is a new feature added for this funtionality (it looks like you could disable this by using the no call waiting beep accept command);

IOS

12.4(9)T

12.4(4)XC

In CME 4.0 - Improved waiting call notification - When a call is waiting in a call queue, the phone users who are members of the queue's hunt group are notified by a call-waiting beep, text display, and lit message lamp.

No special configuration is required

The beep will be heard only if the ephone-dn is configured to accept call-waiting beeps (default).

accept - Allows an ephone-dn to receive incoming call-waiting beeps.

call-waiting beep [accept | generate]

***Can you try this command;

Example:

Router(config-ephone-dn)# no call-waiting beep accept

From this doc;

Hope this helps!
