Is there a way to allow users to be found by the directory handler if they have no mailbox? Some users are not allowed voicemail, but need to be able to have their extensions dialed or be found in the directory handler from the Auto Attendant in Unity.

Hi Jeff,
You could set up these special clients as Internet Subscribers, which does not require a User License but does allow them to be listed in the directory and to be able to be dialed from the Call Handler.

I added the users as Internet Subscribers and if you try and dial their ext it says it did not recognize the entry. Is the Remote_Address in the csv file supposed to be voice:dn number?

Hi Jeff,
That is correct :) It is the Directory number.

Hi Jeff,
Good stuff! I believe the user needs to record a Greeting before they can be found from the Directory Handler.
Hope this helps!

Hi,
First "remote_address", it a dummy email address, like "DN_NUMBER@YOURSITE.COM"
Second, Internet Subscriber to be reach, you MUST record their name. remember : Alwasy record a name to any object you add in Unity as a best practice.
Bad thing, for Internet Subscriber you need to manually, record the name of each object, so 1000 Internet Subscriber == 1000 recording of name must be done.
