best option for recertification

hi,can any one of you please help me through my career...I am a ccna and my work exp is limited to only teaching ...and I have had a break of about one and a half years in my career now.My certification expires this september.So I require career guidance...


1.Is it advisable to take up ccie without experience.if yes,pls suggest some good institutes offering training in coimbatore or chennai,India?


2.Should I take up some other certification?if so,what certification?


3.Any other option,pls guide

To answer your questions.

1. I personally don't advise to go for CCIE without any hands-on. Even if you get your CCIE, your market value won't be high and you still need to compete against CCNA with many experiences

2. Certification nowaday is like commodity and it will give you higher chance of getting notice by potential employer only

3. I would suggest you to start from front line network engineer while getting Professional level cert or CCIE
