CCDA Prerequisites?

Unanswered Question

Hi, I have a couple questions. I am interested in the CCDA exam but I have noticed two different prerequisites off the site and the site.

The cisco press site explains that the prerequisites are only ccna level knowledge.

On the cisco site they say the prerequisites are CCNA and BCMSN level knowledge.

I am curently going to take the ccna exam in a couple weeks and I am interested in studying for the CCDA exam next. However I am confused if I have to study for the BCMSN exam first before I take the CCDA exam.

Also you can't take the BCMSN exam unless you have your CCNA correct? So future students studying for the CCDA have to pass the CCNA of course and then follow up with the BCMSN then the CCDA?

You answers are much appreciated :-) Thanks!

I have this problem too.

Knowledge <> certification.

You don't *need* CCNA for CCDA, nor having passed the BCMSN exam. That's just recommended by Cisco. :)
