Problem releasing devices from DHCP

Unanswered Question

I am running Network Registrar 6.1.3. I have 12 subnets that I am using DHCP. If I have a PC that is defective that is in another subnet, I usually go into that device and do a "ipconfig /release" to release the ip address. I then bring it back to my office in another subnet and repair it. Once again I release the ip address. The problem is that the address for example is hr0005. After putting it back into the subnet the dhcp sees it as hr0005-1. Now I can no longer ping hr0005 and when I use remote access software (Dameware) or try to push security patches (Update Expert)it is not able to see the device (hr0005). In the past I have turned the PC off and gone into Registrar and deactivating / activating the lease. Is there an easier way to release these -1 device names? Is there a way to keep this from happening? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have this problem too.
