Solved: allow ping to inside interface on asa5520

I have a access list to permet icmp any any, but, I still can not ping interface inside' IP address.

How can I configure the box to allow me ping inside interface?

Any comments wil be appreciated

you can never ..ever.. ping inside interface from outside the firewall or outside the DMZ if thats what you are trying to do...(possible only via VPN)

where are you trying to ping the inside interface of the FW..?

Try adding the following in configuration mode

"icmp permit any inside"

Try this, in global config.

icmp permit any echo-reply inside

icmp permit any echo inside

icmp permit any time-exceeded inside

icmp permit any source-quench inside
