hi guys,

I got a msfc switchover in my 6500 (hybrid - System Bootstrap Version: 5.3(1)

and msfc image is (C6MSFC2-PSV-M), Version 12.1(13)E5, EARLY DEPLOYMENT RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

Only MSFC got switchover not SUP

So I want to reset the MSFC back to primary SUP.

Normal reset will give 30-40 secs downtime.

SSO is not available in this software version.

any other suggetions would be helpful if i could do it without down time.

Hi Ravi,

Unfortunately there is no workaround for the same. Without SSO there is no way to reduce the switchover time.

Give that you have to reload, why not load latest software. So you will have the new features and fixes.
