Hi everybody;
A customer wants 500 rJ-45 10/100/1000 connections for clients. However, he doesn't want to use access switch. He wants all of the connections on the backbone.
Do you have any idea about a non-blocking and cheapest solution?

Either convince this customer that they are making a very bad decision, or walk away.
You will not want to be responsible for the this network if implemented as a flat topology.
If you install this, and it operates as designed (i.e., it's going to suck bigtime), the customer won't take the heat, he'll blame you (your company) and tell all his friends what idiots you all are and should be avoided.
They usually start screaming that you'll now have to "fix it" and won't be willing to put any more cash on the table.
If you can't explain to the customer why hiearchical design is the best way to go for a network of this size, find someone that can.
Just because the custoemr wants it, doesn't make it right. Part of the responsibility you have as a partner with the custoemr is to help them avoid stupid decisions, and educate them as to why your solution represents the best practice for the money.
The fact that you are willing to walk away should signal them as to the magnitude of their poor design choice.
Good Luck

For that type of port density you would be looking at a 6500. Probably a 6513.
