I have set up WAN on my 1801 router. The speeds are significatly slower than when I use a broadband router previously supplied by the ISP. I need to be able to set the MTU to 1352. Must I set up GRE to do this and if so, on how/on which interface? I am new at this.

Hi

You do not need to setup GRE to change the mtu on the interface. Under the interface configuration mode:

"ip mtu 1352"

That should do it
