Aironet 1100s and unstable network

We have upgraded one of six Aironet 1100 to 12.3(8)JA. We used TFTP for the upgrade and the upgrade seems to have "taken."

However, the event log now shows the following message every four seconds: "System running-config write error; configuration failed" This has Error as the severity.

Every thirty minutes another, Critical, error is logged "Memory allocation of 900000 bytes failed from 0x22DC78, alignment 0"

What causes these messages? Is there something we need to change?

Well, as they are indicating these are severe. I think there is HW failure also that may be why it is unable allocate sufficient memory for the write operation.

I would redo the tftp transfer again just for this unit and see if it would help. If it doesn't, then call TAC for a replacement.
