Redistribution from RIP to BGP metrics

Unanswered Question
Mar 27th, 2007

I have a router with a WAN connection to a RIP network, and I am redistributing RIP into BGP, I have a eBGP neighbor off my redistribution router. On my RIP route when it gets to my eBGP neighbor I get a metric set of 1 on my route.

10.133.160.0/23 198.5.107.1 1 0 65000 ?

What is the best way on my redistribution router to remove that metric on my advertisements?

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Chris

I have this problem too.

Is it affecting something?

you should be able to use a route-map and set the metric to 0 while redistributing

Post your configurations
