Hi all, I have had to deal with a symantec firewall today, unlike the cisco firewalls, when setting up say a pat address for my internal clients, I could not see this on the symantec one, any ideas why ? The firewall guy who came in says you dont need to use nat/pat for internet, surely this is incorrect ?

Given that this is a Cisco forum, you are probably unlikely to get answers for a Symantec product. That said, you will have to have nat/pat configured to let inside clients access the internet through any firewall.
