Solved: C2950 crashes while talking to FreeRadius

hi,

i have a problem with switch talking to radius server for 802.1x credentials. basically when it receives accept message from radius with vlan assignment it simply crashes and restarts promptly. has anyone had similiar problems? i use software version 12.1(22)EA8 and freeradius-1.0.1-3.RHEL4.3

It looks like:

CSCse88604

Externally found moderate defect: Resolved (R)

2940 switch reloads with VLAN assign from Radius

Fixed in 12.1(22)EA9 and later. Try to upgrade to this version or a later one preferably.

thank you. i've upgraded to 12.1(22)EA9 and vlan assignment works just as expected with the following radius attributes:

Tunnel-Medium-Type:1 = IEEE-802

Tunnel-Type:1 = VLAN

Tunnel-Private-Group-Id:1 = 100
