Hi forum,
why when I use sdm, I can use username:cisco, password:csico to logon? Is there a way to change this?
Thanks,
py

Perhaps I do not fully understand your question. The Cisco routers that ship with SDM are configured with a default ID and password that you use the first time that you logon. You can not change that before you logon the first time. When you have logged on you can certainly change it - and in fact I believe that the new version of SDM requires that you change it when logging on the first time.
If this does not satisfy your question then perhaps you can clarify what you need.

Hi rick,
You are right.
come back from the remote sites that the default username and password hasn't being changed.
Thanks much for the pointer,
paul
