load balancing via static routes

I have cisco 7206 VXR (c7200-is-mz.121-12b) with 2 X PA-8E1, all 16 E1 ports are connected with my remote office and I tried to load balance the traffic via static routes but the max paths shown in ip cef are six, can someone help me

how many paths do you see when you do a sh ip route.

Ip route does not have any limitations. i had used 8 static routes for loadbalancing in my lab and all the routes were entered in the routing table.

Not sure though whether CEF supports more than 6 routes. if this is indeed a limitation, then you can bundle six links together and have loadbalancing over all the 16 links

I see only 6 paths, any options other than multilink ? coz multilink is cpu intensive and my router utl. is already above 75%

Could be an IOS bug or a limitation within CEF.

I will try to simulate it in my lab.
