Why the VPN session between PIX and Windows Server is disconnected every 5400s, even the traffic is still active. I have verified there is no such a lifetime in these devices.
Have you double-checked the IKE and IPSEC lifetime on both devices? You can find information about a VPN between a Cisco device and a Windows (2000) server on the follwoing page:
