Hello,
How can we use the last 4 ports (RJ45) and the SFP ports at the same time as the MAC address is shared bettween an RJ45 port and a SFP port?
What about:
RJ45 ports without STP for a server/host
SPF ports as trunk beetween switches
?

I don't think you can do that you have to select which interface in the config you want to use , you cannot use both .

Glenn is right, you cannot use both at the same time.
Its actually 1000baseTx or SFP but not both

Hello,
thank you to both of you, but what about using those ports as layer2 ports (not having an ip adresse on both the 2 parts of the couple (RJ45, SFP) ).
for 1 RJ45 port, there is 1 SPF port.
For STP, (if I do not make a mistake), the MAC address is the same for all the switch, even with RSTP)
What do you think about this ?
