I am trying to do a Ciscoworks 2.6 Statistical history on a Cat 4006 version CatOS 6.4.10 from the Mini-Rmon. But it keeps coming up with this error:

I know rmon is enabled, all the snmp are correct as i can access the catalyst via Ciscoworks Please help. I need to get this working as I ned to monitor an interface on this device.

Failed to Create Entry !

Could be due to one of the following reasons

1.) Lack of access to the host

2.) Invalid SNMP credentials

3.) Device is busy in handling SNMP queries.

4.) This feature might not be supported by the SNMP Agent.

Verify access, SNMP credentials or increasing timeout value through the preferences option. Also, please check the User Guide for Release Notes

I have this problem too.

How have you validated the snmp strings? Can you run a packet capture while doing this to see what is happening?

Are there any ACL's or snmp-server view's configured on the device?

What do you mean by validate snmp string. How do I go about doing this? There are no ACL and no snmp views configured.
