I am looking to use the BGP feature neighbor xx.xx.xx.xx local-as no-prepend replace-as command. However my current version of IOS does not allow me to use the "replace-as" portion of the command. Does anyone know what version and IOS type of code I should use? I am currently using a Supervisor720-3BL with IOS 12.2(18)SXE1 (s72033-ipservicesk9-mz.122-18.SXE1.bin). Thanks & Regards

The replace-as feature support on the 7600 became available in 12.2(33)SRA.

Hope this helps,

Grant,

It should be available with all feature sets in 12.2(33)SRA. Note that you have to select the no-prepend knob first as follow:

RouterB(config-router)#nei 1.1.1.1 lo

RouterB(config-router)#nei 1.1.1.1 local-as ?

<1-65535> AS number used as local AS

RouterB(config-router)#nei 1.1.1.1 local-as 2 ?

no-prepend Do not prepend local-as to updates from ebgp peers

RouterB(config-router)#nei 1.1.1.1 local-as 2 no

RouterB(config-router)#nei 1.1.1.1 local-as 2 no-prepend ?

replace-as Replace real AS with local AS in the EBGP updates

RouterB(config-router)#nei 1.1.1.1 local-as 2 no-prepend

Let me know if it fixes your issue,
