BRI - Not Registering

Cannot configure BRI via MGCP on Ciso 3845. The router cannot even establish multi frames

ISDN BRI0/3/0 interface

dsl 6, interface ISDN Switchtype = basic-net3

L2 Protocol = Q.921 0x0000 L3 Protocol(s) = CCM MANAGER 0x0003

Layer 1 Status:

ACTIVE

Layer 2 Status:

Layer 2 NOT Activated

Layer 3 Status:

0 Active Layer 3 Call(s)

Active dsl 6 CCBs = 0

The Free Channel Mask: 0x80000003

Please help

Are you using default tei or tei 0 perhaps?

Pls look at "debug isdn q921" with "term mon"

Remember that most switches will bring down L1 and L2 when inactive.

hi,

mgcp bri backhaul is supported since ios 12.4.2T and only "etsi basic-net 3 in user mode".

do you have the right ios? can you post your config?

Actually BRI MGCP is in 12.3(2)T, I guess the IOS is fine.
