AP 1130 not gettin regsitered with WiSM

AP 1130?s are not able register with WiSM controller on 6500.. Do I need manually Configure controllers on AP??

Even Ap's are not detectable by cisco WCS.

They are pick up DHCP i can ping frm WiSM and WCS....

Trace the debug lwapp events enable output from the WISm controller and send me the debug output. Let me check and provide a soluion to you.

Hi mathi,

? AP 1130?s are not able register with WiSM controller on 6500..

Can u verify the DHCP pool which you created in CORE switch,Some time the IP address range will be less and the access point will be get IP from core but it will not get registed in WISM,You will be able to ping also,Clear the DHCP IP Binding list,and then try the same,It may get register soon,And if not if you exclude any IP address,reduce the exclude IP range and try the same.

? Do I need manually Configure controllers on AP

No,If this AP support LWAPP,You dont need to mannually config any settings in access point,You can do everyting from contoller.Its centralized.

? Even Ap's are not detectable by cisco WCS.

I thing you can do the refres the controlle config from WCS.

WCS-Controller-select all the controller-

select command-refersh the config from controller.

After this you can get the AP in WCS also.
