Wireless Problem

Hello,

I have just implemented my first 877w router.

I used the gui for the configurations (excluding the wireless part).

I then followed a cisco tutorial in setting up wireless (the one with the ssid and relating it to vpn1).

I did all the tutorial except for the bridging part which I assume I don't need.

However, when I do: #show .. associations

(where .. is the word that includes an 11 in it -can't remember it from the top of my head-)

I see my only SSID linked to VPN as 'DISABLED'. I tried lots of things including no shutdown in the ssid mode, shutdown vpn1 (thinking I can re enable it - but guess what I lost my telnet session, lol).

I googled for a bit, but I wasn't able to find a solution.

How can I fix this?

Thanks in advance

VPN is supported for wired modules and not for wireless serives.Refer URL

what you need to do is bridge vlan1 and your wireless into bridge-group 1

Then you setup BVI1 (bridge-group 1) with the IP address, access-lists etc that you want

Then apply your vpn crypto map to your dialer0 interface and there you have it.

Traffic from both your wi-fi and wired devices will go across your VPN

If you email me your config I can have a look at it and make the changes that you need and send it back to you
