Hi all can anyone tell me what packet shaping is, is this QOS ? and has anyone heard of foursticks ?

PacketShaping softwares/hardwares are QoS applications/devices. I have'nt heard foursticks, I use PacketShaper from Packeteer (www.packeteer.com) for years and satisfied with it in many aspects (setup, management, support, etc..)

is this the same as a cisco WAAS/WAFS unit where it can cache traffic for wan links etc ?
