Ok here is my situation. I had two 3com superstack II switches that has your desktops, server, firewall and 4 megabit modems attached. We removed them and upgraded to Catylst Express 500 and everything works great except the mega bit modems. They are connected t othe switch via cross over cable, at first we thought they were slow etc but now it turns out that on the other side of the modem only one device can attach at a time and on the port it self it says maximum allowed devices on this port are already connected.

So if one computer is attached it works fine, if two attach the new computer doesnt work, unplug the working one and the new one works

How can I enable the ports in question to allow more then one MAC address to pass through?
