VPN Client 4.04

I have internet access, I have the right username and password, and I have added ports to the windows firewall both UDP and TCP/IP info and still I get Reason 403:Unable to contact security gateway.

Greetings Mate,

First of all it looks like you dont have proper connectivity to your VPN server.

Check the following steps:

- Check your Internet Connectivity

- Check connectivity to remote VPN server (use ping)

- Can you resolve the DNS for VPN server.

- Disable all Firewalls

Also, Can you give some more details like what Operating System you are using, what is your VPN server (Is it PIX or ASA?)
