I am trying to download the IPM client on to my workstation via the Ciscoworks. But it keeps coming up with causer could not be created. Please what am I not doing right?
You need to do the client installation as a local Administrator of the box who has access to add users. You may also want to check to see if you have a local security policy that prevents the creation of new users.
I ran across the same thing. I had first to manually add a group called casusers and then add a user called to casuser to that. After that, I re-ran the install and it completed OK.
Yes, this may be required in certain setups, especially when a domain is involved.
