FWSM and number of interfaces

How many total interfaces can be created on the FWSM?

Hi,

In Transparent Mode,eight pairs with two interfaces, inside and outside

In Routed Mode, if you don?t use the command same-security-traffic permit inter-interface just 100 interfaces, if you use this command you can use more , but I don?t know the Max Value.

These values I think are per context, not per FWSM

Maximum interfaces/vlans = 1000

- 1000 VLANs total per service module

- 256 VLANs per security context in routed mode

- 8 VLAN pairs per security context in transparent mode

Hi,

The total amount of interfaces is fwsm blade i 256/context and a total of 1000 for all contexts.
