SIP Trunk from CCM 4.2 - NAT through PIX version 7

Hi all

Many thanks for taking the time to read this. I am hoping that someone can shed some light on this as its driving me mental..

Bit of background on this.........

SIP trunk from Callmanager goes out to Gradwell. Inbound from Gradwell works a treat, no problems at all. Outbound is a different matter.

When calling outbound the call setup works and RTP also works. So both parties can talk, but after exactly 30 seconds the call is dropped everytime. I have attached the debug from the PIX and I can see an error message that I dont understand and perhaps someone can shed some light on it?

Hi

Try this:

Do not let inspect the SIP flow from the PIX:

Remove SIP-protocol form the "class inspection".

...

policy-map global_policy

class inspection_default

inspect dns preset_dns_map

inspect ftp

inspect netbios

...

..

Hi there

Thanks for the reply. When i stop the PIX inspecting SIP traffic, RTP goes out of the window. I have the one way audio problem....
