LOOPBACK packet high

Hi

I have 2600 router and have WIC-2T card.

one resonal site is connect s0/0 and internet modem connect so/1 card. For slow of net, I test the serial interface.

inside e0/0 is packet 5/sec .then time loop s0/0 is normal but when I give loop s0/1 with only modem then packet I/0 128Kb.In normal state s0/1 packet transfer 50Kb

I am not clear why packet increase when looped.

Hi

Its not clear whether you are talking about the load on the serial interface during normal condition and load condition.

can you throw more light on the same ?

Hi

In Normal conditon when i Loopback for test purpose then show a lot packet flow. but other interface 0 packet. why differance and lfrom where large packet come !
