"WARNING: Cookie information is corrupt"

loadprog: error - Invalid image for platform

e_machine= xx , cpu_type = xx

Cannot load "Flash:"

Does anyone have Cisco 2611XM router and can send me a "show cookie" from ROMmon?

I need to input new cookie information in my router.

This error message means the software image on the flash memory is not for a 2600 router.

Let the router go into ROMMON, then do a TFTPDNLD to load a new image into the router. Refer here for details -

This should fix the problem.

This is not the case. When I issue command "show cookie" all fields are 00 00 00 00. That means that router cpu, interface, mac-address are erased. I need to input this information in a router (memory).
