I have set up a monitoring session on a 4507 switch. The intent for this session is to capture all internet traffic for filtering purposes. I configured the session using the following commands:

monitor session 1 source int "port"

monitor session 1 dest int "port"

The status indicates that the destination port is not receiving packets and it is not learning.

The interface on my filtering unit stops responding and I am wondering if I misseed something on my session that may be causing the interface to stop responding.
