Hello! I get 847 and fail for my first try to CCNA. I am orking with cisco a lot and i see the strange situation with access list simulation.

I got router that have 3 interfaces with 3 segments. On one segnet i have a source net, on the other i have external acccess on third i have a server LAN.

the task was to create ACL and apply ACL so one PC caqn acccess to web server on SSERVER LAN all other http access to that web server should be denied and all other traffic should be permited.

I the setup of the task server segment had 172.168.....

When I connect to router and view config I saw that ip on that segment is 192.168....

What is true?

I should change ip of the router .....the task was just to create ACL

OR segment in the question was incorrect?

Please explain further. I understand you have 3 interfaces on your router. One going out to the world, one for the internal Lan, but what was the other for? Also, what exactly did they want? From my understanding they want the world to be able to hit an internal web server but nothing else or is it that one computer inside the company intranet should be allowed access to the outside (like a proxy server/IIS)??
