Etherchannel on 7600 dropping packets - BUG ?

Hi All

I have an Etherchannel between 2 7600.

using a tester I can see that I am loosing packets, but looking at the usual stats I am unable to see where they are being dropped.

the total link is 2X10Gb and I am pumping 10Mb only. I also have WRED and broadcast storm control with 30% threshold.

-no drops registred at interface level.

-no drops at QOS level.

I removed Broadcast control, still dropping packets. the odd thing is that, when generating traffic from 1Mb-5Mb all is fine, after that I start dropping.

Any pointers or suggestions will be great help.

TIA

Sam

Adding configs.

please note, config for TE interfaces is obviously the same.

So show interfaces error counters look ok? Is your tester able to read jumbo frames as valid?

no errors on interfaces

no drops on polic? maps

no drops on WRED

no drops on MLS

tester shows frame loss

I am suspecting CSCee10005, but need to take down DEC and see what happens.

The only thing that is bugging me, is why are the packets dropping when I go over 5Mb.

There is absolutely no rate limiting anywhere else than those interfaces I am looking at.

TIA

Sam
