i have a router that connects all our t-1's to our branch offices in a hub and spoke topology - however i have run out of t-1 ports. i want to add another mgcp gateway next to the existing router to allow for the expansion of more offices (3). what advice can you give for this process? what are the possible gotcha's?

i can provide more detail if needed.

thanks in advance.

First of all think in future expansion, if remote offices start growing you can start thinking in local Voice Gateways and SRST in remote offices.

Also select a platform that fits your current and future requirements, if using Cat 6500, I can recommend you CMM Module in order to have multiple T1s.

Make sure LAN|WAN QoS is properly defined.

Look for CallManager Design Web Page or you may open a case with PDI Team.
