Hi,

I have a few 6509's with SUP1a's and I was wondering if running NetFlow on them will create a lot of extra load on them. This is what we have in slot1:

WS-X6K-SUP1A-2GE Hw : 7.0

Fw : 0.0

Fw1: 5.4(2)

Sw : 7.6(5)

Sw1: 7.6(5)

WS-F6K-PFC Hw : 1.1

Sw :

S-X6K-SUP1A-2GE Hw : 7.0

and this is the memory in them;

DRAM FLASH NVRAM

Module Total Used Free Total Used Free Total Used Free

1 65408K 53881K 11527K 16384K 15532K 852K 512K 379K 133K

Theo,

Netflow tables will be maintained in the PFC and the configuration will be doen on MSFC. As this will be a hardware switched, I think there should not be a significant performace load. Please see the link below for more info on the same.
