Restoring IOS

I have 2 2811 router.One of the router's FLASH memory is erased.

I want to restore IOS in that FLASH memory.I have donot have TFTP server configured on any of my system.

Can I restore IOS on FLASH by any other way?

If Yes, pls let me know how?

Hi

You first need to backup the IOS from the working router.Then you can copy that IOS to that non functioning router.

As there are two most popular ways to so that :

Network based (TFTP,FTP etc) ---fast

COM serial based :Xmodem --- slow

You can download free TFTP servers like solarwinds and 3Cdaemon.

You can view the link given by other poster for the procedures.

You can download a TFTP Server for free from just about anywhere, and run it on you PC or laptop...
