Several weeks ago I was speaking with someone about a new Feature on the ASA5505. Basically with a certain setup I can enable the asa with two WAN connections. Setup the ASA to ping the main WAN and when it times out it will fail over to the secondary.
Someone was telling me there is a command similar to that in a cisco router. Where it will ping a certain route (I mean destination) and if that fails it will switch over.
I know I can do it with static routes but that assumes the wan goes down. I want to have two wans (Which will always stay up (MPLS)). I want to ping across to the remote end and if it goes down to force traffic through another connection.
Basically I want to know the name of that command.

It can be achieved with IP SLA:

Of course object tracking is part of the
setup you'll need to implement.
