You might need an image that supports voice.
Check Table 3 at :http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps5854/prod_bulletin0900aecd8017a816.html

Looks like your IOS is IP-BASE. (From your sh ver) "C2800NM-IPBASE-M"
Check with your cisco partner if you got the right software. I *think* it should be "IP
VOICE" when you do a "sh ver". (Assuming you are looking for a IP Voice basic feature to be supported)

Can you please post all Network modules you have in the router.?
04-14-2007 09:19 PM
Slot0: WIC2T
Slot3: VIC2FXS

Here are a couple of things I would try
1) Move the FXS to a different slot and see if it comes up
2) Have the FXS module alone on the router and remove the WIC-2T. Once the router comes up, do a HOT insert of WIC-2T.

I think my 2811 router does not support VIC-2FXS .

2800 series routers take the VIC2-2FXS, it is the version 2.0 of the FXS cards. The VIC-2FXS is for earlier series routers I believe. I use both in my enviroment, you will just need to make sure you get the version 2 FXS card.
