Do routers have a base MAC like Catalyst switches do? Or are the only MAC/Hardware address available per interface?
Thanks!

Hi Chris,
Each interface has a specific MAC address defined in case of routers.
A router does have something called as the Chassis MAC Address but not sure whether it can be called as base mac address.
You can see this mac-address by the sh diag command
HTH, rate if it does
