switch 3640 port going up n down frequently .. what could be problem, it connected to linux server pls find logging data. n suggest.

Hi,

at a quick glance i'd suggest that you were suffering from 'route flapping' - have you checked the cables and nic cards / interfaces for faults? That's normally the main reason.


Try that first and let me know if it worked as there are ways to get around it so that the rest of your network does not suffer!
