CCNA questions about physical interfaces

Hello all,

I have a question about the status of physical interface on some questions of CCNA.

1) Interface 0 is down in administatively shutdown.

The interface have a problem or not ?

What's the correctly anwer ?

2) Inteface 0 is down adm. shutdown

Sub Int. 0.10 is up

Sub Int. 0.20 is up

a)No int. have problem

b)one intreface has a problem

c)two or more interfaces have a

As the stated policy on this forum is "posts that include exam questions, answers, or any content of the exam materials are not permitted in this forum". I'm going to assume this does not come from a real exam but a pracice test.

I have done a few of these whilst studying, and generaly the answer is that it is not a problem. If an intderface is administatively shutdown this is assumed to be intentional. Either the adminstrator has shut it down for a reason, or it has never been enabled and is awaiting complete configuration before the admin runs the "no shutdown" command.
