Can anybody tell me about Source based routing and Destination based routing with scenario.

Hello,

I'm not quite clear on your question. Router by definition forward traffic based on destination IP address. To bypass the default routing table and forward traffic using the source address (or source *and* destination), you need to use policy based routing:

Well, I can try. consider the following:

1.1.1.1--- A -----10.1.1.1

|---Router---|

1.1.1.2--- B -----11.1.1.1

We have two hosts on the same LAN (1.1.1.1 and 1.1.1.2). The default routing table says all routes destined for 10.1.1.x go out interface A (regardless of source). Now, you could configure source-based routing to say any routes from 1.1.1.2 be sent out interface B -- possibly for a specific NAT translation for example. This is policy-based routing.
