AIM for transcoding

Can you use AIM for transcoding. There is no information for the AIM

I have this problem too.

The AIM-VOICE-30 provides digital signal processor (DSP) services, which can support up to 30 medium-complexity or 16 high-complexity voice channels. So I guess they do have DSPs. Also the data sheet mentions that it can understand a variety of codecs.

AFAIK, with the old routers 26xx/36xx/37xx, Transcoding can only be done by using DSPs of an NM-HDV and with the new gen ISR routers, you can install PDVMs on-board the router or on NM-HDV2 and use it for transcoding.

AIM-Voice-30 does not support CFB or XCODE
