It depends what exam you want take

For SNRS

I suggest 2 routers (for VPN, CBAC, Auth-proxy etc..) and one switch (for 802.1x , port security) and also server with ACS installed

For SNPA one PIX running 7.x code and one ASA

For IPS - Cisco IPS 4215 at least with 3 interfaces for inline mode testing and router for blocking testing

For CSVPN - VPN concentrator 3000 series

If you want build one global lab for all exams

I suggest 2-3 routers , ACS, IPS 4215, PIX, ASA, VPN concentrator - this lab is close to CCIE security setup so maybe some CCIE securit rack rental could be helpful
